What's Cooking Today??

Same as yesterday as double amount was cooked, and today is a very busy day..
We often reheat our pasta based meals after it was discovered to be healthier.


Is reheated pasta less fattening?

 

Anything easy today, probably Fish and Chips.

 

I'm thawing out another mackerel, have it once a week at this time of the year.
Roasted in the oven, although it is nice enough to get the barbecue going but got a big day tomorrow.
They are replacing my conservatory roof and they forecast thunderstorms.

So this could be fun,not.

 

Get your Brolly ready.

 

Jacket potato for me with butter, cheese and onion. Pasta with olive oil and hot sauce for T'other Half.

 

Breaded plaice fillet with baked potato, sweetcorn, grated raw beetroot, cheese and salad.

 

Smoked Haddock & Rice.

 

Hubs is cooking one of my most fave Iranian meals ,( actually they all are to be honest!).
Our whole house smells so yummy, the aroma is hitting me out here in the garden too!
Can't wait for 1pm!!!!

That sounds delish Upsy. I am a having peanut butter (and butter) granary bread sandwich for lunch and fresh breaded chicken fillet for dinner.

 

Sorry couldn't take a pic yesterday as my tablet needed recharging , but it was so delice!!


Today dinner is Chicken pie, roast spuds, broccoli, carrots, runner beans, peas, sweet corn...and not forgetting Yorkshire Puds..... who says you have to have them with beef!!

 

I see you are into the cooler weather food. Sounds delish.

No cooking here. T'other Half fixed me Pineapple with Cottage Cheese sprinkled with Cinnamon. I will have the remainder of my Jacket Potato tonight left over from Monday with Baked Beans.

 

Yes not sure why exactly but hubs had the pie ready and waiting.....sat out in the garden now under the sun shade and baking!!

It was nice though

 

Sausage casserole made with red onions, leek, carrot and some tomatoes that were going a bit soft and some mushrooms.

 

Quiche, spicy wedges and baked beans.
