Sweet and sour chicken wrap and salad.

 

Mini Chicken fillets, Roast Pots, Beans, Carrots & Broc.

 

I made two turkey, sweetcorn and red pepper pot pies today with pastry only on the top. I used leek and potato soup as the base with a little cumin added. Had one for dinner (delish) and froze one. With the left over pastry I made a cherry jam pasty. I use old Fray Bentos pie tins. Cook for 15 minutes in the Air Fryer.

Lasagne + veg for dinner here and toasted cheese and onion sandwich for tea this evening.

 

My favourite.

 

I am having a cheese/lettuce sandwich tonight. That means a lettuce leaf with cheese and onion rolled in it with a boiled egg on the side ... summer food! Haven't got a clue what T'other Half will have ... probably some carbs. He has lost 20 kilos this year though.

 

Thai Green curry tonight. It's quite chilly in the evenings and overnight! Also, need to use up the frozen limes, lemongrass, onion, garlic and coriander before this year's crops arrive Still working on growing the coconuts and rice

 

We've been out visting this morning so wanted something hassle free and quick..
Spinach, lime and cheese Frittata. Yum, yum.

 

Roasted Chicken, roasted Pots, Green Beans with York Pudds. My fussy Grandaughter is having Sausage in a Bap and Sweetcorn.

Yum....sounds good. Chicken is my fave meat, especially when cooked on the BBQ.

 

Made some sausage, based on a silesian recipe but left it unsmoked. Froze most although had to try a couple... most will be bbqd over the summer. So much better than shop bought

 

Cheat's pizza. Frozen shortcrust pastry rolled, oiled and pre-baked for 10 mins. Toppings suggest that some people like extra cheese, some don't. The problem is the no-man's land in the middle where an olive or piece of broccoli (yes. She wants broccoli on her pizza ) might stray to wrong side.
