What's Cooking Today??

Just found our Christmas Dinner from last Sunday...oops.

Duck and all the trimmings, we didn't bother with the Christmas Pud as we were full enough.


Back to normality today.



Fish curry & cous cous + salad.

 

We will have home-made steak pie (not by me), mash and peas.

 

Roast lamb and mint sauce, potatoes, cabbage, peas, sprouts, carrots and gravy. Pudding 2 mince pies with whipped elmlea and cranberry sauce.

 

Roast lamb here too. Reverse seared it, served with sprouts roasted in mustard, roast parsnips and potatoes, steamed carrots, onion sauce, gravy, redcurrant sauce. Apple crumble for desert. All sides apart from potatoes were from the allotment

 

Lasagne with red cabbage, runner beans, carrots and broccoli. No dessert.

 

Toad in the hole and potatoes cabbage peas sprouts carrots and gravy with fried onions with chilli.
Don't have a pudding during the week.

 

I made some fettucine alfredo and tossed in my leftover turkey chunks. And I'm about to make some Baily's Irish Cream ice cream. My next door neighbour gifted me a bottle of the cream so I will give most of the ice cream to them I have leftover egg nog and a recipe for egg nog muffins that apparently freeze well so I will be baking these this afternoon.

I don't need to bake any more bread as I'm chocker block with it and so are the family and neighbours ... This looks like something @Victoria might have going

 

This is a puzzlement to me Lori. But I would go for the Bailey's Ice Cream and how about Egg Nog Ice Cream too?

 

I was referring to the cute picture... looks like a cat loaf to me!

 

Ah, now I look again, I see a cute Ginger cat on its side! Sorry, I don't know how I missed that!

 

I usually drink my coffee ( and tea) black but must admit to liking a good splash..or 3, of Bailey's in it too!!

 

Quiche, potato wedges and salad.
