Hubby had a egg sandwich and a sausage sandwich and the bread was toasted. I had tomatoes on toast with a scrambled egg.

Looks tasty but neither of us like legs. We are about to have chicken breast with ratatouie rice and rosti before we go back out for an hour.

Got a tortilla press recently so was trying out some tortillas today with masa harina. Worked surprisingly well. Just a test run so I only dipped them in some hot sauce. Much better than the old el paso corn ones.

Made some broad bean dip. Had burgers and salad too.

Slow cooked beef brisket with sweet potatoes; spuds, carrots and butter beans. Prepared last night and turned the slow cooker - on low - at 6 pm. 8 am this morning moved the switch to keep warm. Just finished it now - the beef was mind blowing  and all the veg. cooked to perfection.

Rarely use the slow cooker - but that is about to change given the lunch we have just had...
