Either pan fried or in the oven depending on how lazy I'm feeling. Which is a lot at the moment :heehee:

We like it marinated in a little lemon juice for an hour, pan fried in butter with very thin slices of fresh ginger.

Sounds nice, I might have a go when I have a hankering to do it.

We had some nice Lebanese kebabs delivered.

I have a pork belly roast cooking now using an immersion cooker for tomorrow. Will sear it off in a screaming hot oven.

They used to show lots of those in the local cinemas, in the 1940's and 1950's, for the Saturday morning shows for children. :old: Parents were able to drop off (get rid of :heehee:) their kids for the morning. It cost only 6d (2½p) and cheaper than paying someone to look after them.

In Worcester I used to do that in the late 60s. It was 2 sixpences. But they showed a lot more childrens films and cartoons. It was called the Gaumont cinema, a very big cinema now it's a bingo hall.

Over the road was the Odeon cinema, it closed and re opened with 3 screen cinema, it was small and could hear the other films being played.

Apologies for still being off topic :noidea: Typical piece of Shiney's useless information! :heehee:

Although Odeon was the Greek name for their open air theatre in ancient times our British Odeon company said the cinema chain was named after the owner who started the business - Oscar Deutsch. He claimed it stood for Oscar Deutsch Entertains Our Nation.
