I've lost count of the number of Cuphea that I've binned in the past, thinking they were dead. Well this year, the 'casualty' starting sprouting green at the base so they're tougher than I thought.

You're all so thoughtful! :loll: Sadly, since 'you-know-what', the export to France of wild animals and foodstuffs (and just about anything else you care to mention) is impossible  I can post a recipe, though, if that would be of help?

Ours aren't wild, they seem quite happy and chilled out. So I could send them to you if you want.

Perhaps we can sneak them in by rubber boat.

I've been lucky and haven't lost anything here, but living where I do my choice of plants have been the hardier ones.

Thanks but no good to me Noisette, not having seen a snail here in six years.
