    I should have said back garden had this little visitor on the front garden spotted him on cctv I had to pop out to take a picture :), never be tempted to take one from the wild for an enclosed garden :blue thumb:.

      I'd love a hedgehog, I used to "save" them all the time with cheese and onion crisps and let them off in the field behind my old school when I was younger :) Even had a collection of hedgehog stuffed toys.. memories! Dug out my photo album for this one.. 4/5 years old :redface:

        went out today and there is 6 or 7 more dead so i nuked the area with pellets. the only stuff i could get dose contain metaldehyde however i know there will be no hedgehogs in my garden as i have tried to cat proof the garden.

        i have only put a little around plants but i have put a lot under the shed to try and draw then away

          They tend to be more effective when used very sparingly and at least 3" from the plants.

            Under the shed? just the kind of place I wouldn't bother putting them.
            Can just imagine the slug thinking, "shall I chomp on that nice juicy plant? No, think I'll just have a look under the shed first".:snork:

                little monsters that like to be out at night would be where in the day?

                  it look like the pellets have dont there job, just popped out for a look and the flower beds are covered in slime and dead slugs... should be a fun job cleaning them up today
