Most of these were taken in the evening so are not very bright pictures.

These Verbascum are always competing with the runner beans as to which can grow the quickest.

The photos themselves are just quick snaps taken of the plants. The plants have done all the hard work of looking good

 

I have a chat with them, regularly.

 

Annabelle is only just starting to come out. The heads will grow to 9"-12" across and be pure white


These alliums have come from seeds just thrown in the ground. They were from some of Mrs Shiney's flower arrangements


Penstamons are beginning to show

 

Thanks @Michael Hewett we have the advantage of a big garden and having been here 44 years.

A lot of our plants are self-sown or bird sown. If they grow and we don't need the space then they stay. That's why there's no them to it.

Pity you weren't able to get to our open day.

 

Hi @Michael Hewett we open the garden every year and GC members have been coming for the last eight years. Some of them come a long way and stay over in B&B We usually get between 10 and 20 GC members and loads of the public. This year was a record with almost 500 people coming through the door!
