@Verdun It really doesn't get the chance here as it has been cut down by severe frosts two years running, I thought I had lost it! It is making up for lost time now with several flowers out.
It may grow well where you are unless you get the ocassional -6/7c!!

Myers Lemon has more ripening fruits and new flower buds coming on (next years crop).

    Calliandra surinamensis.
Two flowers mid August and the nothing, leaves were dropping, although the buds were all there and now it has decided to flower properly. I think it suffered lack of water while I was away but there is some more new leaf growth. It is in the conservatory to protect it from the bad weather.

Unfortunately the flowers are short lived and very sticky.

The conservatory goes down to about 6/7c at night occasionally in winter and nothing suffers but that is the minimum for the Clerodendrum. The bougainvillea can take lower temperatures but would defoliate.

Much better than mine @stephenprudence which has plenty of foliage but no blooms or even buds this year.
                      Is yours in the ground?

Clive, love the Cleodendrum. Tried C thomasaiae a couple of times. Once when Sis brought a rooting of hers from Florida and then I spent €20 for one here ... no success. Is it too dry here?

                        Love that Orange Bougie. xx

Lost mine after diligent due care for a couple of years. Again, think it is too hot and dry.

It is indeed yes .. i decided to plant it out when it got to big for the pot it was in about 3 years back. It gets trained as a wall shrub.

@Victoria, I have only seen it outside on Madeira which is more humid than where you are so may be it is too hot and dry although I can't say for certain.

Not much exotic around now but a few bits to show.

Couple of Passion flowers, the white one I thought was "Constance Elliot", but apparently not.
                                Red one is "Anastasia".

A plant I've tried a few times but at last got some decent seed, fouquieria splendens, (ocotillo),
Never realised how it formed the spines/ thorns, till now.
They are formed inside the leaf stem and remain as the leaf falls.
