Pete - that Podranea looks superb. One day, when I find some space I will have to have a go at that. The flowers look pretty large and very like a pink version of Clytostoma callistegioides. I have its close relative, Pandorea jasminoides, which I have grown from seed Victoria kindly gave me - its not flowered yet, but has now grown 7 feet up my garden room wall so I am very hopeful.

Mowgley - Its lovely to see a ginger in flower so early - well done.

Thunbergia alata. This is the least exotic of the Thunbergias but never the less lovely. I have grow alata from seed this year but mine are a poor colour. So I had to buy this one, when I saw it, as its such a nice colour. I have also just sown some seeds of Thunbergia napaulensis, which I stumbled across.

Sinningia - bought as very cheap tubers. However I read that its difficult to get them to repeat flower the next year, as they exhaust the tuber. Does anyone have any experiance?

Justicia carnea - a member of the Acanthus family.

Echinopsis subdenudata has bloomed every few days for a couple of months now. The trouble is catching the flowers as it's a night bloomer and they've usually been past their best in the morning with the warm nights. Here's todays show (I had to use the flash as it's so dark here it's like night!!)................

Galtonia candicans with Albizia julibrissin seedling, Lobelia tupa and my huge Echium candicans looks exotic................

At long last the first of my Passion Flowers is blooming - Passiflora Amethyst...................

Nicotiana glauca (Tree Nicotiana) has bloomed all summer. It will get planted out next year as it will be too large for the shed......................

Sesbania punicea is blooming again (rather bent over due to the weight of all the rain though)..............

Seeds for the S.punicea here (not a seller that I've used though).

I bought some S.formosa seed from this seller though. Very fast delivery (from Oz) and germinating already.

                      Thanks for that further confusion:heehee:
So now I need to go from .co.uk to a search in .com and then if I find anything in Oz to .com.au (or .com.us for the USA etc I presume).

If they arrive from Oz as quickly as mine did they'll be sown before the end of the week!
