What's looking exotic in July

    Got this wrong! With the benefit of hindsight obviously Galtonia viridiflora is going to have green flowers ... I need to plant things with much better contrast behind it next year, probably some red leaf plants.

    perhaps this Amaranthus Foxtail:

    or this Amaranthus (I'll have to dig out what name it is ... might even be some more Foxtail plants!):

    And some leafy things that are looking nice and chunky. The single leaf chucked up by Amorphophallus Konjac:

      First blooms on my Nicotiana glauca. Stands about 2.5metres tall at the moment so not the best photo........................

      It will form a nice large shrub/small tree in time with these glaucous leaves......................

      Ledebouria socialis bloomed indoors in the spring and has decided to bloom again outdoors this summer...................
