Yes please Philomel, we haven't had any rain for almost a month.
PS... My Dutch Irises are just in bud. Looking forward to a good show because they were from my local 99p shop and the TĂȘte a tetes and Muscari I had from there have been fantastic.

I'll stand by the summer dry bit. The ones in the bed along the wall (dry in the summer, wet in the winter) have thrived and self seeded whilst the ones in the bottom bed which retains a lot of moisture disappeared without a trace. If I were to offer a theory it is that they want to be dry as the growth point heals after die back?

Still my favourite Tulip by far.

          |That is rather lovely!

What's rain? I'll hold out another day or two but then I'll have to get the sprinkler out. Stuff is wilting here now.

All of you seem to be well in advance of our garden. The Coronilla isn't in bud yet, no tulips in flower, not a hint of a flower has appeared on any of our irises, no blue bells in bloom but we have a wonderland of cowslips and primroses and a sea of forget-me-nots. :)

I do need to think about moving it as the blooms are hidden by the foliage. The problem is that moist shady spots are few and far between here..............

I bought the original plant of this a long time ago from a small nursery in Cheshire which stocked several different celandines and it was planted in my mum's garden.

This is a plant I recently transferred from her garden to mine after its slowly increased :)

I'm visiting again this weekend, I'll see if I can find a small plant for you Jenny :)
