    Thank you for my little treasure Bilbo,
    all potted on in scrumptious JI no.3 compost and thinking about the best spot for it on the damp side of the front garden,

      No problem at all Jenny, it should slowly increase over the years (I've found the double isn't as vigorous as the single flowered varieties), it also appears to come true from seed too :)

            I feel your pain Keith. I've had to say goodbye to 75% of my favourite perennials as I've had a pair of gardeners digging down 1 METRE to tease it all out of the soil. Back breaking work that I couldn't face ( too old and it would have broken my heart ). There's still 25% of border to clean and 2 of my mature roses are in that bit,
