What's looking good APRIL 2024

@Brenda please can you tell me which heuchera you have in the middle of your lovely bed? I'm looking for one with that sort of colour. I used to have one like that called Lime Ricky but I haven't seen it sold recently

 

There's one sold over here that's very like it, called Lime Marmalade....

 

Hello @CarolineL and @noisette47. It is indeed Lime Marmalade. The only thing I would advise is that this one is in it’s second year but others I had succumbed to some sort of rust or spotting.

I have H. 'Lime marmalade' in my garden. It will not survive in a sunny place. It's thriving under the shade of my Akebia quinata-covered pergola.

 

I have one [L. Marmalade] in the pond margins. They don't mind sun if they have damp feet. I have another one under a fir tree.
They do get a bit rusty now and again, but you can cut them back and they come away again.
I went off them for a while because they looked a bit too 'lettuce-y' but they're good ground cover.

Absolutely lovely, @Plantminded, and your wisteria looks extremely well-behaved and orderly, @Papi Jo.

Looking at all the lovely photos here, I realise how messy my space is in comparison. I don't mind. I'm not trying to win awards, just have happy plants. I think I look at the individual rather than the whole.
