After some nice warm weather at the weekend we are back to very cold winds and lashing rain today! I am glad to have the pots on the patio to look out at:

The pelargoniums were from Lidl last week and are being very brave about growing away and starting to flower already. The hardy geranium came from a friend, and will get planted in the border once I have established what kind of pink its flowers are. The bird bath at the front is very popular with a pair of robins nesting nearby who take it in turns to get right in and splash around heartily (sorry not to have a photo of that!), and I am especially pleased with the tulips - Moulin Rouge, the first time I have grown them. They started off almost pure white and are getting more and more red on them as they mature:

On the other side of the patio is a lead urn with a dwarf fan palm, under-planted a couple of years ago with purple crocuses. Those have happily multiplying, the flowers are over now of course but the foliage still looks good:

Yes...their permanent homes, on wheels  When all the rest just gets the better of me, I'll be pottering around the terrace looking after them and making marmalade and mojitos :roflol:

Not great, I just dabble, but I doubt anything would get through customs these days anyway.
                  But thanks for the offer.

A general view of the garden taken today between a couple of showers of rain (and hail).

Thank you, I do still have some stored from my initial collection so I will give those a go, hopefully they are still viable. I've also got a nice amount of poppy and nigella seed saved from walks last year. I've already seen a wild poppy in flower here.

Yes the ones in the planters at work are looking like that, they are drooping right over the edges. Still pretty though.

I have the white honesty (as well as the purple, and some variegated/coloured-leaved ones). It self-sows well if you leave it to do its thing - the seed heads seem to take quite a long time to open and shed their contents.
