Here are the two photos I took yesterday of the crocuses fully open in the beautiful sunshine we had!

There are plenty more to come yet! But as yellow crocuses seem to be the first to flower the others will begin in another week I expect.

I discovered a few more Crocuses open on the balcony railing this afternoon - they are a pale yellow whereas the others, that have been open for the last week, are a dark orange with black stripes on the outside. In the 2nd photo one of them can be seen!

@Logan Those Crocuses look very nice! I haven't got any other colour but yellow at present but in a couple of weeks I expect to see a bowl of purple striped white Crocuses start to flower. Today they are just poking their noses through the compost.

@Balc thank you, yours look nice as well. I do have a lot of the yellow ones as well and some purple ones that are later.

I noticed a cherry tree down our road starting to blossom today. I will try and get a picture soon.
Picture below is the same tree in blossom back in NOVEMBER!! during that unseasonal warm spell.

Grevillea (possibly rosmarinifolium) first flowers of the year - unaffected by frosts in Dec and Jan, lots of buds still to come
