Lovely photos, Michael :) Did you know that Loropetalum is quite hardy? It survived everything that Northants threw at it, and has sailed through our worst winter here at temps of -17C and half a metre of snow for 10 days. I suspect that quite a few Chinese plants have to contend with difficult conditions...

      Thank you @noisette47.
It's nice to know your Loropetalums have survived cold temperatures. I don't think they like our very wet Welsh winters, I've tried them a few times and lost them every time, so I'm not taking any chances with this one, and drag it into the greenhouse every November.

The council does the same around here! Although as you say "it does make a mess of the branches" yet the bushes don't seem to die back or get infected! But you try doing anything like that in your garden!

You live and learn :) Some plants really do repay the trouble we take, don't they?

I've never seen these Euphorbias flowering as early as this ...

              Silver Swan :-

              Ascot Rainbow :-

              Ascot Rainbow.JPG

              They are in pots.

And here's Aeonium 'Black King Kong' flowering in my cold greenhouse. I'm surprised and pleased to see it ...

I know the flowers are not fully open yet, but it's exciting ...
You'll probably be shown them again when they open

I love the scent of Hyacinth but don't have any.

@Balc Did you see the comments about an awning on your balcony?

All your Hyacinths, Scilla, Leucojum etc. are way ahead of our garden. Hardly anything visible in our garden yet.

I can't stand Lillies for too long either although I do put up with them out in the garden.
