You’re right @Logan and @Michael Hewett I went out last night and saw the little blighters, tiny slugs on the daffodil flower buds.
Most of my daffodils are planted in pots with gravel as a topping and these didn’t have any slugs on them but the ones planted in the ground and the ones in pots without gravel had loads of slugs on them!

And of course, grevillea still producing. They may be small and not abundant, but it does flower all year!

For me it’s my snail rolls, first time of trying, fun but can’t say how practical they will be as the seeds grow. They make me smile in the morning thou

Is that foam packaging @Tinkerbelle61 ? It looks a very compact way of growing things!

hi @CarolineL yes it is foam packaging, I saw it on insta and then the following week we had a delivery with this packaging so I thought I’d give it a go. They are in a heated propagator in the unheated greenhouse, when the sun is forecast (hahaha) I turn the heater off and take the lid off. I had them spread between two propagators but I don’t think I filled the rolls enough with compost and some started to topple over so they are all squeezed up tight in one propagator, though there is still room for another 6-8 rolls in there. It really does save space and compost but I’ve know idea how they might fair once they are too big for the roll. Exciting times and they make me smile
