It is lovely to see all these pics of Spring flowers. I love hyacinths - mine have been toppling over so I have picked them for indoors.

Thanks so much for the colourful, varied and beautiful show everyone! :gnthb: :gnthb: Just can't get my fill of it all, have come back a few times to enjoy it all over again.

Love your cats, Redstar, they must think they live in Paradise in your garden.

    Thanks for sharing everyone.

    Beautiful, cheerful pictures everyone :gnthb:

Redstar, your magnolias are in advance of ours. You really should put primroses, primulas and cowslips in your garden. They would love it there and they are so cheering to see.

The last few days have started to bring them out now and in a few weeks they will look stunning.

Shiney, I see the primulas and cowslips come up in grassy areas, do you then just regular mow the grass later in the season???

    Redstar,
Yes, but I don't mow until they have set seed. When I have collected as much seed as I want I then mow them down - usually end of June beginning of July (depends on the weather).

I spread the seeds on grass verges of roads and in the forest :thmb:.

Lovely colours everyone ... so many things I cannot grow here.

However, having had several weeks of sunshine, the garden has brightened up with the Osteospernums and Euryops pectinatus giving a nice show ...

... and my Callistemon viminalis must have 100 brush buds ....

Having taken those pictures yesterday morning, we progressed through the day with rain and thunderstomrs with the rain continuing all night and today, at times very heavy, so everything is rather battered now.
