I have Tiarella Iron Butterfly too. It's did really well last year during our very good summer and now have as sizeable clump. Mine grows in fullish sun so doesn't seem that fussed. I am busy trying to take cuttings. If it's similar to other Tiarella/Heuchera I should have no problem getting the cuttings to root. Really nice foliage plant when not in flower and not tall so a great addition to any herbaceous border imo

Not sure where the name comes from as I can detect no scent whatsoever, but a lovely wee plant anyway.

LK your Polemoniun is ahead of my Stairway to Heaven.

Yvonne, your Akebia is looking healthy but it can be a bit of a thug unless 'tamed'.

It has plenty of space to spread out Strongy, I would like to train it to cover this wall.

It is rather nice to know that although nowadays we are always on the look out for something more glamorous and exotic, humble plants like primroses, cowslips and so on still occupy part of our heart.

Though I love these cheery little plants, they really are good at self seeding themselves. I think I need to be a bit more ruthless in getting rid of some of them. I wish they could indicate their flower colour in someway so that I could take them out selectively while they are still seedlings.

There's more colour appearing all the time and I like the way the different times, and different light, of the day changes the colours to the eye.:snork:
