On another subject - is that your thumb or a finger that you chopped off and photographed in the grass with a vicars collar round it - in your latest avatar :rolleyespink::scratch:

@Linz - your Frits are better than mine! Three bulbs potted up in an unheated greenhouse and I have one in bloom, one barely broken the surface and still no sign of the third!

Ohh, I cheated @longk and bought one ready grown from the RHS show in Cardiff :roflol: For the last 2 years I have tried to grow red ones but the slugs munch the stems and they keel over!

Still struggling a bit here for colour but got some daffodil out and some tulips opened today, still waiting for the large daffs and tulips in barrels and large pots. The lawn come along the past week after a feed and other work done, still a bit patchy in places but will fill in soon. Give the lawn its first trim this evening with the cylinder mower.

Garden looking quite bare with focus on mainly herbaceous perennials, it will hopefully bursting with plants in the next few weeks.

@Perki What is the lovely blue flower in photo 6? I wonder if it might be pulmonaria blue ensign?

Looks like it (Hesperis matronalis) but also looks a bit like Honesty (Lunaria annua). The leaves of them are totally different but can't see them properly.

Blossom on our apple tree and cherry tree.

Last year we also planted a pear tree, which is looking lovely and leafy now, and a little crab apple tree which has some little buds just about to open.
