Depending on their original size, alana, and that they're planted just below the surface of the soil they may not flower for a couple of years or three.:dunno: I have 13 Peonies of different varieties and they're not what I would call a "Hasty"plant when first planted. My Wife used to watch all the plants carefully and, if she decided a plant wasn't happy where it was, used to move Peonies and plants around until she was sure it was right, to the extent that I used to say to her that they were all moved so much they needed suitcases:heehee: Having said that she was right 95% of the time and she, alone, disproved the Myth that you shouldn't move Peonies because they don't like it. My wife used to move/divide mature Peonies after flowering, when needed, and they always flowered the next year.!:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

I am pleased with the progress the four pittosporum Tom Thumb I acquired for the front garden (with advice from all of you!) are now making. As there is still room to spare in their pots this year, I have added in some oxalis Iron Cross. I suspect I may end up needing to take those out in due course but meanwhile the two sets of bi-tone foliage should be fun together:
                IMG_2639.JPG

One already has a pink flower:
                IMG_2637.JPG

And in the old water cistern Nepeta Seven Hills Giant has also really taken off this year! Beyond it is a spider plant, and a dwarf pomegranate which should have lovely scarlet flowers in a month or so's time. IMG_2638.JPG

@Victoria - your Hibbertia is fantastic! Pity it's too tender for UK. Mine is now in full flower, but a bit less dramatic...

I like that Neolitsia, NigelJ! Never heard of it before....Those young leaves look a bit tender to withstand hot sun and wind, though?

@noisette47 I don't think it would take wind and sun very well, in fact it's hardiness is questionable. However I got it in September 2017 and it came through the Beast from the East with little damage and the two hot dry summers since. It comes from the mountains if Taiwan and is found in woodland there, it also prefers acid soils.

I think he is pretty old, I've known him for about 8 yrs, and he had a nasty limp a couple of weeks ago, so didn't see him for a while, but hes back now.
