        The trouble is they hybridise forming mixed batches.

          I think they are English, been growing in one part of the garden or another for 50 yrs or more.

          Edit, just had a close look, never bothered before, think they might be hybrids.

                      The Leptospermum is one of my favourite plants. It's colour just doesn't show up on a photo, it's a true blue no hint of owt else.

                          My understanding is that the English has flowers all on only one side (and leans/droops in that direction), Spanish has flowers all-around-the-stem - more like a Hyacinth (not as densely packed though), and Spanish is a more insipid light blue, and then English is a much nicer dark blue ...

                          But I'm sure you know all that :)

                          We have a few Spanish here, they are almost impossible to kill. I cut them down every year as soon as they are up, and before they can cross-hybridise with any of the English ... the Spanish under-perform on every count - except virility :(
