    Muscari caucasicum the violet tassel at the top consists of sterile flowers, the lower flowers are the fertile ones.

            Wallflowers blooming well,some are into their 3rd year now, a few have become woody so they will go this year.

                  Thanks Upsy. One did not go in place for some reason so I edited it. Yes, we both love it. It must be 30 feet tall now. It was last blooming in November. From where I sit in the lounge I can look down the foyer and see the dangling bits through the front door windows.

                  We were posting about the same time. You have so much colour and variety. That is one of the differences by not having annuals, just evergreen perrenials.

                    I haven't planted any annuals yet. Even most of the Tulips were left in pots from last year. I also keep all my Wallflowers too as they provide a good green backdrop to other plants in the borders, I know a lot of people treat them as annuals though, but I hate chucking away healthy plants and Wallflowers are much better in their 2nd year.
                    Planting gets underway towards the end of next month...:fingers crossed: :biggrin:
