A funny little Grape Hyacinth that comes at the side of an old railway sleeper every year

It is a rather strange looking Grape Hyacinth!

It's Muscari latifolia as opposed to the common variety Muscari botryoides. I think there should be more flowers on it but it isn't in a very good spot.

Fingers crossed they survive @Upsydaisy. They look lovely. Often very windy where my parents live so they have short tulip varieties now. Clematis always snapped off though. More sheltered in my garden so I’m normally lucky with the wind.

 

Thanks @Dahlia Queen , even a slight breeze can feel quite strong here in our garden as the way the land lies it causes a bit of a tunnel effect.
I do have shorter ,mainly pink, ones in the borders.
