Wow, that is in flower now? I have Pittosporum 'Warnham Gold' and it doesn't get its flowers until May.
Hmm, wonder which your one is: silver queen? Silver magic? Silver Princess? (any of those ring a bell?) Either way, those flowers look very pretty

Acer Orange Dream is leafing up, the first of 8 although A Phoenix is just behind.

This Actinidia has hardly grown in three years, one flush of leaves now and then nothing and this year no pink in the leaves.

Some folks are a bit snotty about Daffodils, I just wish all bulbs were so easy to please. april 2016 6.jpg april 2016 5.jpg

I read that we are due some hellishly cold weather. That's going to do an awful lot of damage to my early flowering species Rhododendrons, Camellias and Magnolias....oh well. april 2016 7.jpg april 2016 4.jpg april 2016 8.jpg

A few bits and pieces in my garden this afternoon.

A bit of a puzzle this. This is my variegated Norway Maple (Acer Drummondii), it hasn't come into leaf yet but is has begun to flower. The odd thing is that the flowers are pretty much all on one half of the tree, and it's the side of the tree which faces north. Wonder why that is?

Forget-me-nots coming along nicely in my semi-wild flower patch at the bottom of the garden

            DSC08440.JPG

The cowslips are still going strong in the wild area.

Tulip White Emperor and a few Forget-me-nots making a nice combination.

Don't know the variety of this Primula, it's been in that spot for years now and is particularly good this year.

Pulmonaria and Symphytum ibericum seem to co-exist quite happily in this shady spot.

Woo, it's never "just" a tulip...

I've got my first open Apple blossom of the year... image.jpeg

(Photo taken yesterday, when we had sun and showers. Today we have had sun, rain, sleet, hail and snow - it was 4c when I came back from church at 3pm this afternoon, same temp as when I went at 10.30!)

Judging from other photos on this thread, garden life is well after England.

Nice photos @wiseowl. How long has your Dicentra spectablis been flowering? Mine (if the frost doesn't ruin them) are all but flowering and it surprises me that you living in balmy Kent aren't well ahead of us igloo dwelling folk up here!
