Ah, excellent, thank you! Yes, my pair are in pots (a gift, bought from B&Q, and been outside for 18mths ish) but maybe mine would like a little more time to feel at "home" before they reward me :heehee: Thanks again, your post has given me hope :blue thumb::blue thumb:

Sambucus Nigra Black Lace - flowers just forming. It's still a baby, only bought it last year.

        CIMG0046 (768x1024).jpg

Lamprocapnos spectabilis 'Alba' (bit blurry, sorry - Ozzy nudged me in the back :heehee: )

        CIMG0038 (768x1024).jpg

The Rosemary is still in flower

        CIMG0049 (768x1024).jpg

And my Triffid is going really strong this year too! May even get more than one flower this year (oh yay, lucky me? :heehee: )

        CIMG0042 (768x1024).jpg

Checked the seedlings which I put out two weeks ago. I don't have a greenhouse or cold frame, so they were left to thrive (or not) in a make shift "box with Perspex over the top"
The sweet peas had to make do with standing on an upturned pot.

        CIMG0054 (768x1024).jpg

Couple of losses, but far outweighed by the survivors. My "Little Leo" sunflowers in the yellow pots are starting to shoot now too

        CIMG0052 (1024x768).jpg

All is good in the hood

There's that old saying Wiseowl, that "a weed is just a plant in the wrong place" (could be a misquote but it's near). A very fetching Dandelion:) which is looking a lot more attractive than my frosted Rhododendron blooms:wallbanging:

@"M" just to let you know that it's a complete cinch striking cuttings from Sambucas Black Lace. A few years ago I bought a plant and then took 9 cuttings off it and got...9 new plants. Think it's a great shrub and mine have grown enormous. I prune some right down so get great new foliage and others I leave so I get the nice pink flowers. Even if you severely prune in the Spring you do still get some flowers but much later in the season. If you want more don't bother to buy them just try some cuttings.

Our bay is also in bloom. We've never had so much blossom on it! There are thousands of very pretty blossoms :blue thumb:

 Well some mate you turned out to be! If you had told me that two years ago (before I moved) I had one in my old garden I could have taken cuttings from :nonofinger: :roflol: :roflol:
I shall give it a go @silu because you are right, it really is a pretty shrub. Thank you for the information on it, much appreciated

We don't know why the flowers on these are flat on the ground. They normally stand up.

Started weeding this part of the veggie patch :rolleyespink:. I tend to dig out forget-me-nots as and when the area is needed. The area gets covered in lots of grass as it's next to my wild area.
