Polyanthus (won in a raffle last Autumn) Should have been three in that pot, but the blue one got eaten by slugs :th scifD36:

        DSCF7476 (899x1024).jpg

Rosemary flowers (been flowering since last month): delicate, understated but a gentle blue designed to inspire.

        DSCF7480 (768x1024).jpg

More purple/blue tones: muscari (Grape Hyacinth)

        DSCF7494 (1024x807).jpg

This little belter has been flowering for almost a year now! Direct sown seeds, but cannot recall what they are :heehee:

        DSCF7487 (768x1024).jpg

Snakes Head Fritillary - only one came back this year.

        DSCF7481 (853x1024).jpg

Amelanchier Lamarckii - just coming into flower (although I've noticed sparrows nipping them off :heehee: )

        DSCF7484 (768x1024).jpg

And my "Ghost" Bleeding Heart (Lamprocapnos spectabilis 'Alba') just showing the promise of a grand display to come:

This selection is more "April Promise" because these are a promise of what is to come and it is a thrilling prospect :heehee:

First lot of direct sown seeds popping up: nasturtiums
          DSCF7507 (1024x768).jpg

          Then, the sweet peas:
          DSCF7500 (1024x768).jpg

Now this little fellow was a "discovery" last year. It was @Jenny namaste who discovered it in my garden. So, I took a couple of pieces, popped them in a pot, left them to one side. Only one has survived that treatment and is just about to flower.
          Epimedium (no idea of variety):

          DSCF7503 (768x1024).jpg

          solanum crispum glasnevin (potato vine)
          Lots of flowers promised here:

          DSCF7492 (845x1024).jpg

          And, finally, Choisya "Aztec Pearl"

From the size of the leaves it looks as though it may be a pink flowered one, but the leaf size may have been restricted because of the pot size. :noidea: Yellow flowered ones tend to be bigger leafed and flower a little earlier than the pink/red variety.

:snorky: It is snail protection ... and recycling the shells from the generous amount of eggs my chickens give us. I bake the shells first so they go crispier ;)

Thank you @shiney hopefully pink then  The leaf size is the same size as when I first found it in the garden, so not pot restricted :)

This is always known as 'yellow time' in our garden.

The Forsythias are at their peak now.

The Kerrias are in full flower too.

Lots of Cowslips too, including this self-seeded clump which is thriving in the herbaceous border.

Cowslips and bluebells in the 'wild' area. Last year, a single orange/red coloured cowslip appeared in this patch and it's back again this year.
