Crataegus - always pretty this time of year.

Epimedium - heart shaped leaves just growing. Our pink version is always a later bloomer than the yellow.

Exochorda macrantha 'The Bride' - a joy in any garden.

You have to look hard, but the Aucuba flowers are very pretty I think!

And the Ceanothus is just coming out too.

These two cymbidiums were given to me years ago by someone who purchased them in the early sixties, when they wetre still very expensive plants to grow.
The top one is "Dorchester" and the bottom "Papillion" as far as I know.
Both have been outside all winter with only frost protection, they have taken all the wind and rain.

I can smell it from here! I love the scent of broom, takes me way back to childhood!

Superb photos, and plants - I especially like the cacti.

Pete, you're certainly having some sunshine for everything to be blooming like it is. I won't discuss my Cymbidium with you ... [IMG]

Waco, just love your elegant concrete bits and bobs ... I have one very small elegant concrete pot I've had for about 27 years! :( What do you put in the circle for the summer?

Love the scent of broom, Pal, lovely! [IMG]

We're due more showers in the week but we'll welcome them!

That's lovely walnut. Lucky you! I cut my white and pink ones back and gave the white one to friends last month and they have planted it in the ground and it has about 20 buds on it already.

The pink I kept has healthy new leaves but no buds yet. There's a restaurant about 1km from here that has two pink ones by the tables outside and they are heaving with blooms.
