Hi strongy, lovely blooms. I have nothing at the moment being the height of summer except the double Oleaders. Even the Hibiscus are struggling except for my giant Newbiscus which has to be watered 2/3 times a day as the blooms are 30cms across.

I just love that Agapanthus. I lost my large clump I've had for eight years here and rotted in the heavy rains. Thankfully roders sent me a couple of bulbs which are strangely striped and even more strangely I have two seed pods which I've never seen before. :yho:

    Loads of wonderful pictures, everyone.

Here's one of my favourites, Salvia patens 'Oxford Blue'. Most 'blue' garden flowers are really shades of mauve and violet, but this is a true electric blue, which looks fantastic against yellow and apricot. My plant has been blooming for ages and is still producing new flower spikes.

Glad you like it, Woo. How is your 'Compassion' rose? I still miss mine. But I haven't got room for anything else!

Wow, lots of pears! How long does it take for fruit trees to establish properly & begin cropping?

Here's the area I sowed unused seeds and a 'cottage garden mix' pack of seeds, the sunflower is just beginning to open but a few flowers/plants are past their best, I was trying to a achieve a bit of a cottage garden/ wildflower look so it's supposed to look slightly messy, I love it any way :)
