Hi all! It's a time of transition in my garden, I'm fuelled with impatience to see some of the novelties bloom for the first time in my life and I'll be here to share!
Well, a few 'jungle shots' first, I'll split them.. .

Dahlias and countless things in the background...

Sambucus nigra, salvia horminum, nicotiana, ageratums, celosia, impatiens, deschampsia, kochia scoparia...

    Hydrangea macrophylla
    [IMG]

Rose (probably 'The Prince') and Salvia splendens. The rose has 7 additional buds ready to open, but I can't wait...

        Thanks Jenny!
Just a normal hot summer. Bit too dry, but we have a river and spring water flowing through, so flowers enjoyed it!

Fuchsia Thalia I grew from cutting.
        My first fuchsia ever!
I'll try to overwinter this outdoors and I'll take more cuttings to root in pots in case of failure, for next season:

        Platycodon grandiflorus

        Achillea and cosomos
        [IMG]

        Dahlia 'Night Butterfly'

        Sunflower
        [IMG]

Hydrangea paniculata 'Kyushu', still a baby...

Nicotiana Langsdorfii was supposed to be 4-5 feet high, and it's about 1.5 feet...:dunno:

Rose... I've tried wildly to find out its variey, probable guesses are: The Prince, Astrid Graefin von Harderberg, Munstead Wood...

I'll wait until Woo comes around...

These dahlias have 'mutated' sooo beautifully!

              Thanks, Woo!
I have no first-hand experience with any of them, but I'll list some details, if it helps:
              Height: 90 cm - 1.20 m
Strong rose oil aroma. Even the buds are scented, bees love it!
              Growing habit: upright
All new growth is gentle green and the young leaves are edged with a delicate 'rusty' outline.
It's blooming for the 3rd time this season, and the number of flowers has increased with each flush!

I love that top one,the name of which escapes us both. Looks like a rockeryor scree grower that doesn't like to be coddled. I'm too fussy and "hands on" with this type of specimen.
I've killed more plants with kindness than I've been successful with,

                              I found this info. on Google;
This is the most perfect plant you can grow in a water-starved garden! Dazzlingly bright magenta blooms appear over a long, late season. This glorious plant produces masses of magenta-violet blooms, with glossy succulent leaves adding to the attraction. Sounds just thejob, if only it would stop raining:mad:
