        They are tolerant of most soils, although they do prefer it on the acidic side. Basically bombproof as far as hardiness goes, they dislike boggy winter conditions, and also dislike drying out when in growth. Best in partial to full shade, although T.formosana doesn't appear to give a damn if it's in full sun.

        Anyway, another opened today! Tricyrtis "Tojen" is a new addition this year and it is every bit as good as I was led to believe......................

                    @JWK I wasn't sure :scratch:.

                    That's why I was tagging you and Kristen. It appears that some of them are vertical, on the upright blades, and the others are horizontal, on the sideways blades :noidea:

                    You two seemed to really know which was which the other day. :blue thumb: :heehee:

                    The pink one at the back has pushed out on longer flower stems, I'm hoping the 2 whites do the same.

                      I expect your's is something-or-other Variegatus? Whereas Zebra grass has, of course, got horizontal stripes :)

                      Miscanthus sinensis 'Zebrinus' :

                          I've got lots of the 'Zebrinus' but I've also got lots of 'Zebrinus Reversus'. The first is green with narrow white stripes and the second is white with wide green stripes :blue thumb:

                          I tried growing 'Albino' but, unfortunately, it was put in the white border and disappeared. :rolleyespink: :sad:
