Mine have maybe grown a few leaves in a year, is this normal?!

 

Here's a shot of one of our 'front of house' beds at work.
On top of the wall are large pots filled with Begonia 'Santa Cruz Sunset', a new introduction from Ball Colegrave.
We thought we'd give them a try this year and as you can see they've put on a stunning display.
They positively thrive in hot sunny weather, not sure how they would fare in a cool, wet summer, but we'll definitely be giving them a go again next year.

 

Great pictures again everyone and some lovely bright colours amongst them.

 

Most of my annuals are finishing now, but there's still a bit of life here and there. Oh and the roses are doing their best for a second time this summer.

 

Such lovely flowers you have all shared with us what a shame in a few weeks we will be nearing the end of the summer garden. Mine is certainly taking a plunge in colour already.

Yes, if they look healthy - no worries. Some are more rampant than others nFrost.

Armandii, that is 'Purple Tiger' but more of a burgundy colour than purple.
