Thanks, Jenny, you're right about them looking like claws and it's strange how you see different things in a picture when you've been using a camera.:snork:

No Sheal although they do look very much like them but they are Mahonia berries.

Not sure why I struggled with them as they always were reliable for me.

Didn't think you were that far North? :heehee:
I've got a white Lily flowering which is quite a lot later than the main flush of Lilies I had, which has got me thinking that I could do with some that are "later" to lengthen their flowering season. Do you know what your's is?

Mine is Ice Cube, which is an Oriental Trumpet (same sort of thing as Tree Lilies - and those that I have of those are later than the Longiflorum Asiatic I've got)

At last my Lilies are flowering, despite it being such a good summer they still seem quite late. The monster ones (3rd photo) which are over 8ft tall are a bit OTT and wish I had a £ for every time someone asks me if they are meant to grow that big...answer being NO! If it's of any use Kristen my pure white ones are Casablanca.Dead easy their only draw back can be if it rains when they are flowering the pollen can stain the flowers, other than that simples Picture 263.jpg Picture 265.jpg Picture 268.jpg Picture 256.jpg Picture 259.jpg
