@Sheal i think your bed looks lovely, & I love the photos of your plants, they all look very healthy :dbgrtmb:. The dam weather has been awful, I think everyone would agree that we've all had/have areas we aren't happy with this year, my back flower bed is a disaster at the moment I've added a few plants but it's just not right in my eyes! We obviously both need garden centre therapy! :heehee:

Hi Longk, can't believe you've got that flowering now, usually April through to June.

It's not a species, it's a cross between an American Angel and Citronella called" Salmon Angel "

        That sums up our summer!
Thanks for the ID. Three cuttings took and the other two are bud free.

I haven't done mine yet, I'm gonna do them in the next week or so when I've transported all next years Sweet Williams, various Dianthus, Bergenia, Achillea, Evening Primrose, Oriental Poppies etc. over to my mums.
Plus decided which Coleus seedlings to keep.

The weather has really got to me this year and I'm ready to shut the garden down for winter, I've had enough.

A holiday with wall to wall sunshine and heat would be better Beckie, where shall we go? :) My house is up for sale so I'm trying to avoid spending anything on the garden.

Oh yes please, the thought of wall to wall sunshine for a week or two fills me with much happiness :)
I know how you feel about the weather it's been so blooming cold then we get a taster of summer then it's cold again, I've had enough of it too :doh:surely we must soon get a good spell.
I hope your house is soon sold, have you found a house? :)

We seem to be getting one day reasonable and then two days bad here on the island @Beckie76 and the wind this year has been persistent.

It's going to be a long haul on the sale, the market here is at a standstill. In two months we've had one time waster. We won't be looking for a new house until we move to Scotland which creates an 'end of chain' here, hopefully that's added to the selling points. :)

I know it's ridiculous @longk! I think it was 2012......there wasn't one month we didn't have the heating on here, it was so chilly in the evenings.

We missed that on the island but got buried in the big snow here at Easter 2013.

I was tempted to switch the heating on a couple of weeks ago, it was a really chilly morning, I resisted temptation but shivered when I got out if the bath! The weather pattern is bonkers. The seasons are so muddled! :rolleyespink:
