        Amaranthus tricolor.
No flowers yet (I'm greedy for the seeds), just its spectacular folliage!

@Lorea, could I ask you to harvest some Verbena bonnariensis seeds for me (if this is what I see amongst your sunflowers)? I ordered some from Chiltern in January, but only 4 plants germinated (even after cold treatment). One verbena is flowering now, the other three are quite small. I want them for a flower combination with pink dahlias. The dahlias I have... and will soon show them to you. :dbgrtmb:
I will readily share flower/tomato seeds with you or anyone on the thread.

Germinated very easily and have grown like mad! I made a few supports, each consisting of four bamboo canes and planted one for each cane. One of the supports has just collapsed under the weight with all four canes snapping at about 3ft height! As the foliage is so thick I can't see into the middle. So I've run some nylon string through the plants and round the top of the canes, below where they're joined together, and have tied it to the fence.

So far it's holding up, suspended by the string. The others are OK at the moment. :fingers crossed:

I'll need stronger supports for next year and will probably get a metal frame.
