What's looking good in August 2017

Gosh you must have a really mild climate @Verdun as my Red Dragon is the 1st thing to respond badly to frost. It's usually cut down by early Spring frosts however it bounces back .Yes it is great having so much space but (funny how there is a but!) I'm getting decidedly past it and so it is a bit of a struggle at times. I have given in a bit and put down membrane and bark chip on the shrub beds as before they were employed my life seemed to consist of never ending weeding Being surrounded by fields and weedy verges it's not a good idea to have any bare soil anywhere so the herbaceous borders are stuffed full. I have a big greenhouse 8ftx20ft which is too small! However I have refrained from getting another 1 as I nowadays have to be practical. That said I am sort of still thinking of getting mk2! Had better stop this conversation as it's not really on topic... No doubt @Sheal will be laughing as I'm dreadful at doing this
