    Nope but I'll look out for "May Snow" when I call into the Alpine Centre and Slack Top in September. How'd you find Edrom's stock? Mail order, I presume? I normally prefer to see and then buy. That's just me being antiquated. :)

      Not impressed with Edron. I went there a couple of years ago and queried quite a few things re their ability to cope with winter wet and I was assured they would be fine in my climate. I live about 2 hours away from Edron and have a drier climate than where they are.I flaming well should have trusted MY judgement for sure enough the ones I wasn't entirely happy about never made it through their 1st winter here which was not severe. £90 down the toilet and I am NOT a beginner gardener so planted everything I bought properly. It's all very fine and dandy having the plants growing under cover in more or less a grit growing medium and say they will flourish in gardens in Scotland, they did not. I am not certain but have a feeling Edron changed hands and I was dealing with new owners:rolleyespink:.
      I also asked for them to let me know when they had further stocks of Ranunculous Aconitiflorius Flore Pleno.....still waiting! Luckily for me I met someone who had a good stock and we did a swap. I am visiting my best friend in a couple of weeks who lives very close to Edron.....guess what i won't be doing while I down in The Borders?:)

          @longk ,

          Is Sollya hard to grow ? I've looked at it a few times as it's on offer quite often in AG and GN Mags. ( usually around £10 ). Would it be alright in a large container, it's not fully hardy is it.

            It's a really easy hassle free plant that doesn't even need a particularly large pot. Although it will take several degrees below that does knock it back hard so I just keep it frost free over the winter.
            I used to have the white form as well but it is less vigorous and less hardy as well............
