My buddleia has come on too since the rain started. I need to dead he'd it to tidy it up.

My lithodora took a hammering during the drought. I was worried that it might not make it. Not only has it come back to life, it's in flower too. I'm chuffed to bits.

A couple of weeks I wrote a post about how my begonias hadn't quite turned out how I would have liked. A drop of rain and hey Presto. The gerbera flower died within a few days of planting. That too has sprung up out of nowhere.

The Achillea kindly sent to me by another member is flowering nicely. It's in a pot for now but next year I hope to have it in the ground somewhere near where it is now.

How many individual plants would you say are in that clump @Verdun ? I've tried tithonia for the first time this year and love the flowers, but I've spaced them individually amoungst other things so they don't have the same impact as yours.

            Hiya 2nd bassoon :)
5 plants there.....the colour and size needs a grouping I think to set them off. They do occupy quite a space though.....prob 10 sq.feet. As individuals they might lose the "wow" factor :noidea: I dont think many, if any, other plants have flowered for such a long time :)
