Soggy garden pics . Quite a few plants have been very happy with the wet weather like the Eupatorium and various others .

I'm so sorry that I can't participate fully any more, at least for sending plants  On the bright side, seeds seem to be getting through OK :)
Happy to report that all the lovely plants received from GC friends are doing well, apart from Passiflora Anastassia, who lived a long and adventurous life in the French postal system
I made the mistake of leaving the Araujia fruits on the plant last autumn. Seedlings absolutely all over the garden now! Fortunately, the humming-bird hawk moths seem to have learnt to avoid the flowers as it was becoming a full-time job rescuing them from it's nasty clutches.
Lagerstroemia and Dierama have started self-seeding too, so if anyone would like some fresh seed, let me know :)

Hummingbird hawk moths are lovely - I saw one a few weeks ago on monarda. They seem pretty rare here. I strongly recommend monarda for insects - it flowers for ages and bumblebees love it. I think I've had about 6 weeks flower from mine

I haven't seen any hummingbird hawk moths this year, they seemed enjoy the Valerian last year.

I'm not entirely sure whether the great big moths flitting about on the terrace this year are humming-bird hawk moths or convolvulus hawk moths. If the latter, they're out of luck, because the moonflowers were all leaf and no flower, so they've had the chop
