Yes I thought it was quiet,

 

I haven't posted many either! I've been using my mobile phone to write on the forum recently & I don't keep many photos on it. Almost as soon as I take them I upload them to my computer & erase them from the phone. Anyway I find it difficult to add photos using the phone as it is very difficult to see the photos before uploading them.

Photos 2 & 5 are of my standard Fuchsia 'Garden News'. as 2 branches got broken off it's now a horizontal standard! The 2 remaining branches point one to the left & one to the right!
The photos are taken from outside of the balcony & therefore the branches can't be seen.

I have another 5 or 6 plants of this same Fuchsia - they were grown from the "pinchings" (possibly a made up word! ) of the standard while I was training it! I'm in the process of rooting more cutting from it - from the branch that broke off a couple of week ago.

Banana's in Woking, seem to attract wasps too.
Totally surprised as i didn't think they fruited in the UK, Also as I'd transplanted the Banana clump the winter before last to this new location.

 

Hi Stuart, very impressive! Whatever you do, if @pete tells you that the plant will die after fruiting, don't dig it up! Kentish man he speak with forked tongue!

 

That looks like a musa basjoo, not an ensete.

 

I wish i could help you Pete, its got 4 main stems, only 1 is fruiting. The Fruit stem comes out the centre so its likely that stem may not produce leaves next year.
Come first frosts i'll chop off all the leaves to about4/5 ft stems and wrap with straw/bubble wrap/builders 1 ton delivery bags etc.

 

Ipomoea cairica (Ipomoea palmata) has its first blooms ...

Myrtus paraguayensis this name is wrong, plant exists the name doesn't. except on the sellers website. Burncoose have it as Myrcia laruotteana paraguayensis; which according to Kew Plants of the World is a synonym of Myrcia selloi, hurrah a name probably correct. However neither Hillier eighth edition, or Trees and Shrubs Online, or RHS have any record of it.
