Mine switches to Macro automatically - no idea how it achieves that :blue thumb: so I can just move closer - and it will focus, even until the point where the lens touches the object.

I think mine works in a similar way but I'm not sure it gets quite a close as a genuine macro. Whatever it is, it's good enough for me as I no longer have photography as a hobby. I just enjoy taking photos. :)

Sadly it is too cold/days too short for the blooms to open properly.

Here's a few things blooming in the middle of December!

Fuchsia Korralle Fulgens has been shoved into a sheltered spot for a few weeks now..................

Eccromocarpus scaber is still trying to flower...................

Salvia "Wendys Wish". Here's the smaller one under what's left of the apple tree...................

.................and the larger one under the pergola (which I've put plastic sheeting on the sides to offer some extra winter protection)......................

                Acanthus......................

And finally this Fuchsia microphylla cutting in the greenhouse.......................

At this angle the Rose reminds me of a Strawberry!!:heehee:

While taking this shot I suddenly realised what was on the stem of the Rose.....Greenfly!!!:hate-shocked::gaah: ..........now deceased. But it just shows how long they will remain active for.
