    @Zigs, @Alisa - sorry slow reply - I have been moving house:gaah:
    I have never slit bark for mistletoe - after all, the birds don't. Just squish the seed out and use mucilage to stick to a branch, preferably on top as they slip a bit. Be prepared for very low success rate, as the first year or so they are very vulnerable.

        An aroma caught me this morning as I got out of car and I followed my nose to this daphne Perfume Princess. Only been in place for a year or so so not a looker yet but what a fantastic smell. Odora aureomarginata here has much smaller flowers and less fragrance. Perfume Princess is supposed to have a much longer flowering period too so I have high hopes :)

          Do you think the prevailing winds have an effect on how this curls over?

              Not a bad display for a 25p reject.

              20181223_125742.jpg
              My Hellebore is flowering nicely. It should make a good display in the years to day. If there is room, I might plant one or two more.

              20181223_125825.jpg
              My wallflower has done amazingly well. I think I would be more than happy to cover this section with more of these.

              20181223_125710.jpg
              My felicia is still blooming steadily and osteospersemum is flowering again. If I'd known it was going g to bloom again, I might have trimmed it first.

                Looking great there......felicias, wallflower (bowles mauve) and osteospermum can all be propagated (even now indoors) by cuttings for loads more plants next year :)
                However, be aware of severe frosts to come that will damage those plants overnight

                  I'd agree with @Verdun, @Jack Sparrow - I lost wallflower Bowles Mauve because it flowered itself to death and I hadn't taken cuttings. Yours looks like it's got plenty of good shoots for cuttings at the moment.
                  My correa Marion's Marvel has loads of flower and bud now (apologies for lousy photo). It was in a cold greenhouse, but is having to rough it outside. It has a lousy root system so I hope it doesn't get too windy! MarionsMarvelSm.jpg

                        Our passiflora still has about 100 unopened flowers but none of them are opening. :sad: When I open them by hand they still have all their colour inside.

                              What's looking good. Look no further. Tis me. Today I have gained another year. Does that make me a perennial. Perhaps the old roots might be a bit woody now, but the top growth. Truly I don't look a day older than my avitar. Now then. When was that piccy taken??????????? I bet I claimed to be 35 at the most. The outer covering is one thing. The inner man.....yuk!!
