Last year our Cobaea went mad and grew about 50ft - right over our roof! This year they struggled to make 15ft.

    Some things in the greenhouse:-

    Still producing new buds

One of our chilli plants that is likely to continue until March. The plants are still producing a fair amount of flowers.

Outside we have lots of grasses making a show

It's all we can do to cope with it as well! But where we lived in Spain it was even colder that here - but being a dry cold it was more supportable! I loved the anticyclonic weather of the Spanish winters with the sunshine & dark blue skies (no doubt yours as well!) it's probably one of the things I miss most about Spain! The summer weather in Cuenca lasted only 2 months; 15 days in June, the whole of July & 15 days in August. We very often got up to the high 30sC & when it fell to the low 30sC it felt cold! :rolleyespink: My wife prefers the lower temps of the UK but I prefer the higher temps of Spain! :heehee::heehee::heehee:

Hellebore in flower. The double white has finished, and the Christmas rose will be a bit late

Looking a bit glary in the flash from the camera last night.
One pretty crimson variety got attacked by vine weevils but I've been able to save the corm so hopefully it will regrow for next year.
