    Thanks, Marley. [IMG]

I don't know your Lily but it's lovely.

I'm very jealous of you and your Jade Plant ... there isn't a single flowerbud on mine and they are in full bloom here. Two years ago mine was covered, then last year only a few blooms, now nothing. We were just discussing them yesterday. I saw one that must have been 6-8 feet wide and 4-5 feet tall (possibly more than one shrub planted in the garden) and you couldn't see a leaf for flowers! Mine only gets the morning sun by the front door so me'thinks it has to go up on deck ... heave-ho!

[IMG] I would definitely put your Jade plant up in the sun LoL. [IMG] I was not familiar with the lily either until my friend brought it back. I did find this interesting link about them. Mine is the cooperi variety.

    Interesting plant Marley.
I think I may have something similar, I remember buying a bulb a few years ago, and the name sounds familiar.
I've never managed to get it to flower up to now though.

[IMG] It has just been ticking over in the greenhouse ever since I got it Pete, then all of a sudden, when I came back from holiday there was the bud forming..!! As you see flowering now. Apparently they come in several colours as well. It is a teensy bit pot bound & my green house is heated all through the winter. Those are the only factors I can come up with, as to why it is flowering now. Given the light at this time of year.. [IMG]

Being S African it could well be a winter flowerer, (just like freesias).
I think mine partially rotted a couple of years ago, so I repotted it in a better draining compost.
I'm still not sure if its the same thing though.

;) Plenty of grit Pete along with some JI#2 & well rotted bark.. Well that is the mix they are in now & it seems to have worked for me. Yes, will chesk out if they are winter flowerers if I can. [IMG]
