        When I walked up this little path, I could definitely smell wild garlic in the bank on the R/H side - I looked but couldn't track it down,

          Thanks Jenny - I actually have quite a few in bloom now but the weather's been so dull and gloomy lately and I don't have a proper camera so couldn't really take a decent picture.

          Re the crocuses. I bought a bag of mixed crocus bulbs (yellow, purple and white) and planted them in various parts of the garden/in containers, not having any idea which bulb was which colour of crocus. How come they seem to have come up with all the yellow together in some areas and all the purple together in another and no sign of any white?

                Not planted yet, just bought it, but I really like the flower on this Primula 'Woodland Walk'

                  Beautiful pics Bilbo, that primula is rather lovely. Jealous that your Cerinthe has self seeded, mine didn't but I did harvest some seeds that I'm going to try and propagate.
