This morning I looked out my kitchen window watching the birds and there was a pigeon and a rabbit feeding about 2 feet from each other. Neither was afraid of the other. Just like a Disney cartoon. And Lily was glued to the kitchen window watching them. Where was my camera? I'd left it upstairs!

Taken from my front door entrance in the rain, Viburnum bodnantense 'Dawn' with Lonicera fragrantissima in the background.

It's always the way @Jocko .....many opportunities get lost because the camera isn't to hand.

@Upsydaisy It's quite comical having the Winter Honeysuckle there by the front gate because people are always passing it and pulling the same facial expressions, first smelling the air, frowning and trying to work out where the fragrance is coming from, then realising what it is and taking some deep inhalations from close to the flowers and telling whoever is with them to smell it! :heehee:

2 new hellebores from saved seedlings, I don't think that I've got these 2 colours so that's good.

This is my Viburnum bodnantense "Charles Lamont" today. Not very impressive but it was only planted in the middle of October last year.

Looks damn good to me @Jocko, very healthy, they're the sort of shrub that can take a fair while to get going in terms of flowering! :dbgrtmb:

Well funny you should say that, because that's what I immediately thought: "Oh, Michael probably just scraped those areas of paint off intentionally, to adopt the shabby chic aesthetic..."
