Thanks Bob, Cutie and Pal. Have to admit the nearest orange tree is about 3 meters from the kitchen window ... it is backed by thousands of them ....:D The lime tree and lemon tree are about 18 meters away so quite a trek ... the ruby grapefruit is lucky it has leaves on it let alone grapefruit ....:(

This is the colourful shrub on my patio at the moment ... the Euryops which is nearly 2 meters tall now. I can't find out which variety it is, possibly a E chrysanthemoides, it has fine ferny leaves and zillions of tiny yellow flowers which attracts bees ...

    Lovely piccies everyone :gnthb:

It always bring cheer to see flowers in bloom. All we have in bloom at the moment are Christmas roses and a lot of snowdrops. I love the snowdrops because they show that spring is on its way and they are friendly, hardy little beggars :). Can't wait to see what starts blooming next :thmb:

I cut my Acacia Baileyana back severely last spring after flowering as it is in a pot and was top heavy, it hasn't flowered so well but despite the cold hasn't done too badly.
Unfortunately for a Mimosa it seems to be scentless. A small young Acacia Pravissima is underneath with buds on one branch only.
