How do you mean move, pete ... with the music? ... pick up their bags and go? ... flee with the wind? ... the latter certainly. [IMG]

Are we talking oxalis, (of which I already have one), or evening primrose?

You all seem to have a lot going on in your gardens already. Not much here yet apart from the Hellaborus. You have a nice clump there, Celia.

I bought 3 Skimmia today, not as big as yours but they do grow fairly quickly and get nice and bushy. Our old one is very nice.

Walnut, you sure have a lot of things growing in your greenhouse. Do you do Fuchsia cuttings every year? We just prune and overwinter ours. However, I think it is about time to replace them now.

Roders, I'm so jealous of your Aconites! I've tried them several times but they don't like our garden. After seeing yours, perhaps I'll have another go next year.

Just noticed this thread, and regarding the Acacias I have to ,say that, in my time in the garden centre I sold all four varieties mentioned. And I found that, if you can get them through the first winter outside, then they will survive and thrive.

Hi Kedi yes I grow lots of fuchsias from cuttings but this is the first time I have grown them from seed the fuchsia boliviana(alba)is one of the original(wild) fuchsias and can grow into a 15-25ft tree.

Oh, walnut, a fuchsia tree, now that is something that I would fancy! I have a garden fuchsia, a clipping from Sis, but it doesn't do so well. Perhaps I have it too sheltered / darkish?

Pal, the Aubrietia and Wallflowers are lovely. I have tried both many times, but have no luck with them. Same goes for Anemonies and Aconites, as mentioned above.
