This is a 60 year old rambling rose that we moved two years ago when doing some construction work. It is now back in all its glory and has spread about 30 ft

Some of our plum tomatoes are coming on well

and this one is an, as yet, unamed variety that we are trialling. It is a midget tomato plant but don't know what type of tom it will have. It is now flowering so we shall soon see.

I can almost taste those pics Cumberland. I love summer the most because of how strong the colours are.

A few of mine-I have toned down the brightness on the iceberg rose-too much glare off the sun.

Have never bothered with Dahlias until this year when I brought 3. Think they look lovely in the garden!! Do you lift yours in the winter Claire, or mulch over them and hope they come back ?

I am very much the sort of the gardener that gives plants one choice, live or die, so I mulch over, they do keep coming back. I have got some gladioli this year and acidantheras and will be risking it with those too.

Thanks Cumberland-I do very much admire Iceberg roses too-such a pure white it seems to iridesce.

Cumberland - plenty of pics kicking around on here in different places. I posted some pics on this thread a page or two back :)

Claire - very much my way with plants too. I havent the knowledge to be lifting and trying to overwinter anything, plus I havent got a greenhouse or anything either so I guess im just 'a fingers crossed' kinda gardener lol
